Wanted: a capable bluewater sailing catamaran for Expedition Morgan, a 7–10 year liveaboard circumnavigation. Length 40–55 ft. Aluminum or alloy construction preferred, but other well-built offshore designs considered. Shaft drive or outboard propulsion only: no saildrives. Fully loaded cruising displacement ideally below 40,000 lb. Comfortable liveaboard layout, preferably with a separate shower stall. Strong offshore construction, good payload capacity, reliable systems and practical maintenance access are priorities. Production, custom, owner-direct and off-market boats worldwide considered; France, Australia and New Zealand especially interesting. Not a charter-focused boat needing a major rebuild. Honest condition, documented maintenance and proven offshore capability matter more than cosmetics. No budget specified.
